Three-dimensional simulation of a gas-centered swirl coaxial injector spray under pulsation conditions

Based on steady-state experiments, a three-dimensional (3D) simulation study under pulsation conditions was carried out. This performed to the effect of supply system atomization characteristics gas-centered swirl coaxial injector. The results indicated that spray shape resembled pagoda when Klystron occurred. When low-frequency (200 Hz) applied liquid inlet, peak exit pressure close trough inlet mass flow rate. Meanwhile, rate and were approximately sinusoidal. There no significant lag in response but with small sawtooth-like oscillation. Increasing amplitude disturbance amplified fluctuation, which greater than set pulsation. dominant frequency injector variation significantly less increased 1000 Hz. due low-pass filtering annular slit. change overall morphology for gas By applying same inlets injector, had stronger inlet.
